FAMILY-TO-FAMILY
EDUCATION PROGRAM 
A no cost course for families and close friends of persons with:
  • Bipolar Disorder (Also called Manic Depression) 
  • Major Depression 
  • Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder 
  • PTSD and Panic Disorder 
  • Borderline Personality Disorder 
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 
  • Co-occurring Brain Disorders and 
  • Addictive Disorders

NAMI Tulsa Starts Peer-to-Peer Classes For Heroes In Recovery

NAMI Tulsa announces the Peer-to-Peer program!


  NAMI Tulsa is proud to be facilitating the Peer to Peer program beginning March 24th, 2015.   Peer-to-Peer is a 10 week course for people with mental illness who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery taught by a team of trained “Mentors” and a volunteer support person who are personally experienced at living with mental illness. Like all NAMI Signature Programs, Peer-to-Peer is free of charge but class size is limited, so registration is required.

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy


  NAMI Smarts is a grassroots advocacy training program that takes participants through a step by step process that enables them to leave with a two minute, compelling personal   story that can be adapted and used to advocate in numerous ways.

When: March 28th, 2015
Where: First Presbyterian Church in the Miller Library 709 S Boston Ave, Tulsa
Time:  9 am  until 12 noon.
Training is free, but pre-registration is required.

Winter Family To Family Class


Family To Family class starts in January.
This 12-week class is designed to educate and empower family members who care for a loved one with a mood disorder.

This 2015 Winter session  is sponsored by the Veterans Administration, but open to any interested parties who care for a loved one with any of the mood disorders.


Call the Tulsa office as soon as possible, to reserve your  place in the class (918-587-6264).   It  will meet at the VA campus at Hwy 169  & 11th st, in Tulsa. Time and date to be announced.
